Discussion:
- In recognition of No Kings Day, we discussed the importance of building community among our neighbors and elsewhere and knowing our “theological why.”
- The next set of most-needed items for the Wash Park UCC Immigrant Ministry are Lysol Wipes, bathroom cleaner without bleach, multi-surface cleaner, and sponges. Bring items to Debbie and Phil’s house on July 12 or Venmo or Zelle your offering to Cheryl or Debbie for shopping.
Moments for Eco-justice/Eco-practice:
- Betsy is celebrating the fact that she is among the most efficient energy users compared to similar apartments – in fact – she’s in the top 40% of the most efficient energy users!
- Cheryl is trying the SEVAS water saver device to collect clean shower water as it warms up. https://sevaswater.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooYFmlFL_K6KYL6TiF6rmKAR3lYAqgpeuEjxucD_hsXxRf5nqZn
- Debbie is delighted that her EcoBee thermostat reminded her not to crank up the AC while ecosaver was working

- Michael Stein’s sister’s memorial service is this week.
